Born into Eternal Life on Nov. 2, 2019. Age 89 years. Loving husband of Lola for 65 years. Loving dad of Daniel W., Ryan K. (Deanna), Brian K., Terry L. (Dawn), and Elaine R. Braaten-Lambert. Proud grandpa of Martsha Braaten, Jared and Justin (Leah) Braaten, Jessica (Cory) Shier, Joshua (Loren) Braaten, Michael Braaten and Kory Lambert and great-grandpa of Olivander Braaten, Stella Shier, Emmalei, Skai, Nicholai, and Lorelei Braaten. Dear brother of Marion Braaten and Ethel Kaiser. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Caryl was a veteran of the Korean War.

Visitation for Caryl will be held Thurs. Nov. 7 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, W156 N8131 Pilgrim Rd., Menomonee Falls from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Burial will be On Nov. 7 at 2:30 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield (Please meet at the Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, Holy Cross Lutheran Church or The Stars and Stripes Honor Flight are appreciated.
