Born on January 3, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of the late Ardell and Hortense Gettelman.  Jim found eternal peace on August 22, 2019 at the age of 65.  Beloved husband to Sue (nee Hilgendorf) for 41 years. Loving father of James A. (Cassandra) Gettelman and Laura (Ryan) Wegs.  Proud grandfather of Maisey, Miles, Ellis and Isaiah.  Dear brother of Aaron (Patti) Gettelman, Kristine (Dale) Droese, Linda (Lyle) Wendorf and Mark (Debbie) Gettelman.  He is survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim was raised and resided in Menomonee Falls.  He was a retired Pharmacist.  Jim enjoyed spending time hunting for Native American arrowheads in local farm fields and collecting and fixing antique radios.  He restored hundreds of radios over the years and proudly displayed them in his workshop.  He was also passionate about antique John Deer tractors and restored two of them to working order.  One of his favorite things to do with the tractors was to drive them to the annual engine show in Sussex.  We will all miss his deep knowledge of World War II history and politics, and of course his sense of humor.
