Entered into Eternal Life on December 20, 2018 at age 88. Preceded in death by his wife Doris. Survived by his loving children Barbara (Mark) Schrader and Dale (Linda) Boedeker. Proud grandfather of the late Amy (Ben) Konen, Jackie Vogel, Matthew (Andrea) Vogel, Nicole (Josh) Hall, Michael (Anna) Boedeker. Great-grandfather of Madison, Zachary, Cienna, Shelby, Hailey, Ava, Everly, Penelope and Cooper. Survived by his sister Sharon (Jim) Roland. Preceded in death by his brothers Earl, Donald, and Gary. Further survived by many family and friends.
Jerry was born in Apple River WI in 1930. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who served in Korea in 1952-1953. He was proud to serve for the freedom of his country. He married his wife Doris in 1954 in Milwaukee. Jerry owned and operated Tank Transport Inc. from 1981 to 2013. He was a member of Lannon Lions from 1984 to the present. He was an avid horseman and was a member of WHOA for many years and was a current member of Menomonee Falls Saddle Club. Jerry and Doris enjoyed many years of cruises, RV trips, and traveling around the world, including traveling with their horses and visiting casinos throughout the country.
Private family services will be held. His family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life at the Lannon Lions Club, 7610 N. Lannon Rd., Lannon, WI 53046, from 5pm to 8pm on Friday December 28, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Jerome Boedeker Memorial Fund in care of the Lannon Lions are greatly appreciated.
