(nee Brunner) Was reunited with her beloved husband James on November 18, 2016 at the age of 93. Loving mother of James (Mary) of Warren WI, Jerry of Anchor Point AK, Judith (Mike) Rintelman of East Troy WI and Kay (Larry) Menning of Waukesha WI. Dearest grandmother of Kris (Joe) Kinder, Bryan (JoAnna) Menning, Leah (Nick) Walder, Ryan (Heather) Rintelman, Todd (Kelly) Rintelman and Luke (Angela) Rintelman. Great-grandmother of Brandon, Madelyn, Tessalee and Ian Rintelman, Emma and Ella Kinder, Mark and Jake Menning. Leona was preceded in death by her siblings Clarence, Gilbert, Harvey, Edgar, Norma, Loretta and Dorothy. Leona will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Leona attended Waukesha High School. She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her neighbors on Brandybrook Road for 68 years. She taught 4-H and was a member of the Waukesha County Homemaker’s. She was an avid gardener, bird watcher and canner. Leona was a proud wife and mother and will be greatly missed.  

A Visitation will be held on Sunday November 27, 2016 at REFORMATION LUTHERAN CHURCH, S39W32887 HWY D DOUSMAN WI, from 1 PM until the time of Funeral Services at 3PM. A private family burial will take place at a later date.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Reformation Lutheran Church or the Mukwonago Library are greatly appreciated.
