Milton F. Bauer
May 30, 1916 - June 16, 2013
        
97, of Wauwatosa, passed on to eternal life on June 16, 2013.  He was born in Milwaukee on May 30, 1916 to Edward and Theresa Bauer.  After serving his country during World War II, he returned to employment at Allis Chalmers where he worked until his retirement from Siemens in 1981.  It was there that he met his loving wife Doris (nee Wegner) to whom he was married for over 66 years.  They were blessed with three children and seven grandchildren. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

There seemed to be nothing that he was not capable of building or fixing. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Eddie (Josephine) Bauer.

 Milton is survived by his wife Doris, children, Susan Bauer, Michael Bauer and Jean (Thomas) O’Connell, and seven grandchildren, Bonnie (Vlad) Gidzak, Ben (Heather) Bauer, Nick Bauer, Jean Bauer, Cindy Bauer, Tommy O’Connell and Michael O’Connell.  He is also survived by sister-in-law Adeline Wegner and numerous nieces and nephews.
