I am overwhelmed at finding this obit. Grandma - Christine, watched my precious children when they were born up to the age of 5. I will always love her and Walter for being my angels. You will alaways be loved and missed until we meet again.

I found guidance, friendship, discipline and love, everything, in one person. And that person was you Mom. Thank you for teaching me these things for the past 57 years. You will be missed. I love you.

I am almost half the age as Grandma was when she passed, so I have to assume I have half of the amount of memeories. Every one of them with her are so special,as a child being at her house with all those kids she took care of. As a teenager playing poker in Medford, having her and grandpa come out to California, all the way to being an adult having her come to Arizona and help take care of my first son after he was born. I feel so blessed to be a part of this family she helped create, I hope to have as many memories as she did some day. Rest in peace Grandma I Love You.

Grandma Haasch was a loving woman and I am so glad to have known her. With the loss of my own grandparents early, my marriage to Craig introduced me to Christine and she became my surrogate grandma. I marveled at her vibrancy and at times stubbornness - qualities that led to her long and fulfilling life. We will miss her greatly but take comfort in her being at peace with those she loved.

To have had a life of 97 years is remarkable. To have had most of those years in good health, no major illness, an uncanny memory and the ablility to live on her own until months ago is what most of us hope for. The family is saddened by her loss, but she is at peace and with her husband, Jerry, Mary and Ruth. That should give us all comfort...to know that we will again be with those we love.
