Born to Eternal Life on October 19, 2026, at the age of 84. Preceded in death by her beloved father, Bernard Pospychala; mother, Ann (Bukovic Pospychala) Benson; stepfather, Carl Benson; and brother, Robert Pospychala. Sister-in-law of Vonney Pospychala; aunt of Randy (Paula) Pospychala and Wendy Ullrich. Also survived by other friends and relatives.

Carolyn retired from Miller Brewing Company. She was a talk radio and audiobook junkie. Her past interests included running, tennis, skiing, biking, general fitness, as well as a cocktail or two.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Parish, 2490 N. Cramer St. Private burial at Nativity of Our Lord Parish Catholic Cemetery next to her father in Rhinelander, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Saints Peter and Paul Parish or Horizon Home Care & Hospice are appreciated. A special thank you to Horizon Hospice, especially to Megan and Fatime for their compassionate care during her final days.
