In Loving Memory of Donna Lou Yaeger

Donna Lou Yaeger, born in Barrington, Illinois, in 1936, passed away on October 6, 2026. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt whose life was enriched by family, faith, and cherished traditions.

Donna grew up in Barrington, where she attended Barrington High School. She later married Kenneth Yaeger, also of Barrington, and together they built a family that would remain one of the most important parts of her life. Kenneth preceded Donna in death in 2022. She was also preceded in death by her cherished grandson Perry and her beloved sister, Bonnie.

Throughout her life, Donna lived in Barrington and various other locations across the United States before eventually making her home in Wisconsin.

Donna was the proud mother of four children: Kurt, Patricia (the late Ronnie), Julie (Michael), and Jennifer (the late Thomas). Her family grew to include eight grandchildren: Eric, Rianna, Meghan, Gretchen, Kenny, Eddie, and Catherine-Sadie.

One of Donna’s favorite traditions was hosting Packer Sundays. It was not uncommon for the entire family to gather together to cheer on her beloved Green Bay Packers. These Sundays were about more than football; they were a time for family to come together, share laughter, and create memories that would be treasured for generations.

Faith was also an important part of Donna’s life. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where she maintained a lasting connection to her faith and community.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of family, shared traditions, and memories that will continue to bring loved ones together. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, extended family, and all those who knew and loved her.

May Donna rest in eternal peace, reunited with Kenneth and Bonnie, and forever remembered by the family she loved so dearly.

Visitation will be held Wednesday October 14, 2026, at St. Jerome Catholic Church 995 S. Silver Lake St. Oconomowoc from 11am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm (noon). Interment will follow at St. Jerome Cemetery.
