Mark J. Wolf, born March 9, 1950, of Menomonee Falls, gained his wings on August 30, 2026, at the age of 76.

Mark was a strong, determined, and selfless man who lived his life with quiet courage and an unwavering devotion to the people he loved. He was a natural leader-someone people could depend on-and he was always willing to lend a hand or help someone in need. He had a knack for making people laugh and naturally made those around him feel comfortable and better off for the encounter. He was often the one with a smile on his face, even when life was difficult.

Mark was known for his intelligence, sought for his thoughtful advice, and renowned for his meticulous nature. He was a planner who paid attention to the smallest details and took pride in doing things to the best of his ability. He was incredibly talented with his hands, fulfilling a 30-year career as a master Toolmaker for Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation, and in retirement, creating everything from birdhouses to furniture in his basement wood shop. No matter the floor he stepped onto, the same patience, precision, and care were present in his work.

Mark loved music, especially Elvis Presley. He loved to sing and was happiest when he could pick up his guitar and bring joy and laughter to the people around him. He loved to golf any time he could and looked forward to the infamous Greater Michigan Open with his best pals every year. He could, and did, spend hours around his pool table with family and friends, and time would stand still. He and LuAnn equally enjoyed quality time and friendly competition during their daily 3pm tournaments. He also had a true love for cooking and sharing his food with the people he loved. His famous Polish sausage-making days became a cherished tradition that he proudly passed down to his children and family. His ribs were legendary, and everything he made seemed to have a little bit of magic in it.

Mark was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Mark was stationed in San Diego at the Miramar Navy Base and met Charletta Spray in 1970 and they were married the following year. Mark participated in 2 tours as a jet mechanic on the USS Oriskany (CV-34) during Vietnam.  Many years later, he continued his service by becoming an active member of American Legion Post #382, an organization and community that held a special place in his heart. In 2018, he had the good fortune to take part in an Honor Flight with several of his veteran friends, and specifically, his daughter, Sara, with whom he shared the most special of bonds. At the Post, there were many days, depending on the project at hand, that he could just as easily be found on a ladder or under the sink behind the bar, as he could be found at home. He took his role seriously because he recognized its importance as a special gathering place.

Mark's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was his family. To them, and everyone who was fortunate to have known him, he leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, hard work, kindness, humor, generosity, integrity, and memories. His presence made a difference in the lives of those around hm, and his memory will live on through all of us.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Emily Wolf (Kiedrowski); his brother, Richard Wolf; and his son, Joshua Wolf.

He is survived by his loving children, Brandan Wolf (Nikki) and Sara Reichel (Brian); his siblings, Vicki Smith, Brian (Vicky) Wolf, Christine (Ron) Clancy, Daniel (Leah) Wolf, Gail Fritz, and Jeffrey Wolf.

His longtime partner, LuAnn Columb, and her daughters, Michelle Lewis (Rob) and Nikki Pickering (Kevin).

He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Taylor Beck (Andy), Sydney Schroeder (Riley), Nolan and Austin Reichel, Lola and August Wolf, Jacob, and John Wolf, and his great-grandson, Lincoln Beck.

He is also survived by the mother of his three children, Charletta Jokinen, many beloved nieces and nephews, including Carrie Page (Chris), Morgan Fritz (Alec Nagel), and Jacob, Maddie Fritz, Scott, Dustin, and Steven Wolf, Kelsey Leavitt (Micah) as well as many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Last, but not least-Our entire family extends our deepest thanks and gratitude to all the caring, talented, and dedicated medical professionals at Froedtert Hospital who personally invested themselves to make sure Dad's days stayed positive and his nights restful. He appreciated each of you immensely.

He will be deeply missed, always loved, and forever remembered.

Visitation for Mark will be held on Saturday October 17, 2026 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 12 Noon until the time of the Memorial Service at 3 PM.
