Margaret Anne Cooper
July 28, 1950 - August 11, 2026

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Margaret A. Cooper, who entered eternal rest on August 11, 2026, at the age of 76.

Daughter of the late James and Rita (nee Slattery) Cooper. Proud mother of Anthony (Jill), Vincent (Danielle), and Michael (Rachel) Farina. Loving grandmother of Isabella, Vincent, Gabriel, Giuliano, Francesca, Lucy, and Joseph Farina. Sister of Mary (Terrence) Lenhart, Daniel, Joan (Gary) Hegemann, Robert, and Patrick (Terri). Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many treasured friends.

Marge loved deeply and unconditionally, devoting herself wholeheartedly to her family and friends. She was not only a mother, but also her children’s greatest friend; the person they could always turn to for comfort, guidance, laughter, and unconditional support. She had a generous heart and a remarkable ability to make the people around her feel loved, valued, and cared for. She gave of herself freely, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was an amazing person, not because she sought recognition, but because of the countless small and meaningful ways she made a difference in the lives of others. Her kindness, strength, generosity, humor, Irish spirit, and unconditional love will remain with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She carried her own worries quietly, choosing instead to be a source of comfort, strength, and peace for those she loved.

While raising her children, Marge continued her education and broadened her opportunities to support her family. She courageously returned to school and earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from UW-Milwaukee. She went on to work at Ring & DuChateau for 20 years as a senior lighting designer, a role that brought her immense pride, a deep sense of accomplishment, and lasting friendships.

Marge’s greatest joy came from her sons and their families. She was an avid fan and enthusiastic cheerleader at many sporting events, recitals and every milestone. She also loved family vacations up north, shopping year-round for Christmas bingo, challenging crossword puzzles, tending to her lawn and garden, coloring, and monitoring the daily activity at her bird feeder. Every card, text, or visit typically concluded with her favorite saying, “Love you more” – a true reflection of her abundant love and care.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2750 W. Mequon Road, Mequon beginning at 10am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am.
