Tom and I worked together at Irish Fest for a number of years on the Signs and Banners Crew along with Bill Hanrahan. Tom and I even carpooled each day as he lived on 82nd Street in Wauwatosa and I lived on 81st Street. We became good friends and thoroughly enjoyed getting together and working together. Tom was a very gentle soul and I valued his friendship and am blessed to have all those memories.

What a life!
It's a loss to us and to his kids, grandkids and those who spent time with him, but he didn't leave much out, did he?
For us nieces and nephews, he was a warm and welcoming presence at any family gathering. Quick with a smile and a bearhug, he was someone you could throw a football with or talk in depth about any issue you chose. I'm not sure I can life up to his standard, but I have always tried to be like with with my nieces and nephews.
Uncle Tom, you were the best of us!
