After 78 years, Larry Steve Mack’s life on earth ended on July 22, 2026. He will now watch over his family from Heaven.

Larry is survived by his sons, David (Kim) and Douglas; his daughter, Ashley (Kyle); his grandchildren, Carson, Lily, and Ben; and his former wife of 42 years, Linda, who stood by him until the end; and his sister, Susan and family. He is preceded in death by grandson, Taylor.

Larry was an Eagle Scout and a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1965. On the baseball diamond, he was a standout slugger, scouted and recruited by the Minor Leagues after earning multiple awards for his powerful swing. After graduation from UW-La Crosse he entered the business world, enjoying sales the most.

Favorite times were playing ball in the street with David and friends, trips, fishing with Doug, David, Carson and Ben. While Taylor and Larry shared the love of golf. Being a girl dad to Ashley and grand girl dad to Lily was amazing as he watched one in dance and the other in gymnastics. Life was good!

He will be remembered for being strong and steady in tough times, a family-first guy who lived life to the fullest.

Larry earned Life’s greatest compliment… “Well done, good and faithful servant," and is now at peace in God's presence.

Visitation will be Monday, August 3rd, 2026, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls (N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave) from 10 AM-11 AM, followed by a Memorial Service and interment at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Larry’s name may be made to Froedtert Cancer Multiple Myeloma Fund
