Elizabeth Jean Lieven was born into eternal life on July 1st, 2026. She was 95 years old. Elizabeth was born on July 3rd, 1930, in Neosho, the youngest of 3 children on a working farm. She graduated from Hartford High School. She was married to John Lieven of Hartford, WI on July 22, 1950. They had five children, living in Hartford before moving to Grafton, then eventually to Arkansas, residing there until 2010. She moved back to Cedarburg, WI in 2011 where she lived close to her family until her passing. 

Elizabeth was active with her church in each place they resided. She and her husband John enjoyed traveling, vacationing around the US and world. She also enjoyed sewing and crafting, including stained glass and jewelry making. She had a love for Wisconsin sports teams, watching the Bucks and Packers each season. She loved spending time with family and visiting with grandchildren and great grandchildren in her later years. 

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband John, son Gregory (wife Judy), and daughter Pamela Atterberry. She is survived by her son Phillip, son John, and daughter Marcia. Further survived by grandchildren Michelle, Shaun (Sue), Caroline, Tayler (Madison), Lauren, and Kathryn, and 5 great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 15th, 2026, at St.Killian’s Old Cemetery in Hartford, WI at 9:30 AM. Family and close friends are welcome to attend.
