Dawn R. Mackey
February 4, 1964 - June 3, 2026

Found peace on June 3, 2026, at the age of 62 years.  She loved her animals (Misty, Max, Megan, Tyler, Lyric and Bailey).  Bailey is now lovingly living with the Valentines.

Loving mom of Monique (Aaron) Valentine and Finn (Jessie) Kennison.  Beloved Nani of Isabel, who she taught to love chocolate pudding, bedazzling, sparkles, makeup and jewelry.  Beloved Nani of Mia, who she shared her quick wit, sense of humor and music conversations with.  She loved seeing both granddaughter’s artwork and school photos.  Daughter of Dale (Marsha) Howell and the late Dolores Howell.  Sister of Daniel Howell and David (Dorie) Howell.  Further survived by her Uncle Garry (Yoko) Littlefield, Aunt Sandy Albrecht, Aunt Vicki (Squeak) Gwinn, Aunt Terri Littlefield, other relatives and friends.

She only really loved Journey and Steve Perry, Nicolas Cage, nail polish, “Gone in 60 Seconds” and Mustangs.  She tormented her children with Steve Perry’s music videos, because his hair looked good in “The Party’s Over” and “When You Love a Woman”.  Terrible to play Scattergories, Bananagrams and UpWords with because of her usage of gigantic words.  Unaffected by neighbors complaining about her loud music.  She made the most delicious Chicken & Broccoli.  She genuinely hated wire hangers.  She was artsy and creative with floral arrangements and scrapbooking.

Visitation on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10280 N. Port Washington Road, Mequon from 11 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society are greatly appreciated.
