Of Mequon. Passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026 at the age of 78. Bill was born in Peoria, IL to Robert and Mary Reuter. Brother of the late Robert Reuter. Beloved husband and best friend of Jerry Plato for 33 wonderful years. Dear brother-in-law of Carol (the late Robert) Reuter, Clarence (Carol) Plato, Mary (Dave) Lacey, Nancy (Ron) Cieslak and Susan (the late John) Day. Special uncle to Kelly (Jim) Wells and Terri (Mike) Manning. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Bill proudly served in the Army 9th Medical Division as a medic in Vietnam
Bill loved his home and worked to always create a warm and inviting space for all, but nothing was more important to Bill than his yard, which was always manicured to perfection.
Interment with Military Honors will take place on Tuesday, June 9th at 11 AM at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9400 W. Donges Bay Road, Mequon.
