June Catherine Litkowski passed away on May 31, 2026. She was 77 years old.

She was born to Leonard and Janette Litkowski on July 30, 1948, and was affectionately known to most family and friends as Auntie Noon.

June is survived by 3 loving sisters; Gail (David) Moehrle (WI), Joy (Bill) Fotsch (KY), and Ruth Litkowski (TN). She will also be greatly missed by many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.

With a passion for teaching, especially young children, June retired after 40 years of service in Milwaukee Public Schools. She then worked at Polka Dots and did a ton of babysitting.

June loved sports, especially football, baseball, tennis and basketball. With hands of a crafter, she also enjoyed and had a special talent for card making… if you were one of the lucky ones, you may have received one!

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her brothers George Ward of Staten Island, NY and Edward Litkowski of Milwaukee, WI.

The family thanks the staff at Azura Memory Care in Mukwonago for the wonderful care June was given, and her friends, especially Sally and Lynn who took time to visit her and bring her favorite food. The tuna sub with no onion visits meant the world to her, Thank You!

In honor of June, a private ceremony will be held, and her ashes will be distributed up north where she loved spending time and watching the changing of the leaves.
