Lisa Marie Denmark (née Blatz), 58, entered eternal life on May 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Mequon, Wisconsin.
Lisa was born on June 9, 1967, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Mary Jo (née Van Thiel) and William R. Blatz. She was raised in Mequon, where she graduated from Homestead High School in 1985. She later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
In 1995, Lisa married the love of her life, Stuart Denmark, and together they were blessed with their son, Tyler. The family spent many years in the Denver, Colorado area before returning to Mequon, where they made their home.
Lisa lived her life fully with unmatched enthusiasm and joy. She had a remarkable gift for bringing people together—whether as the life of the party or as a steady source of strength during difficult times. Her kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched countless lives. She had an infectious sense of humor and, even in her final days, continued to bring laughter to those around her, joking with doctors and loved ones alike—an enduring testament to her unbreakable spirit.
Above all, Lisa cherished time with her family. Her greatest joy was being with her husband and son, whose love and support sustained her, especially over the past year.
Last year, as she battled cancer, she showed us what it truly means to live. She didn’t let it define her. Instead, she filled her days with love, celebration, and adventure. She renewed her marriage vows to her husband to celebrate 30 years of marriage—a testament to a love that endured and deepened over time. She traveled to Greece and Italy with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. That was Lisa—choosing joy, choosing love, choosing life.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, William Richard Blatz.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Stuart Denmark; her son, Tyler Denmark; her mother, Mary Jo Blatz; her brother, William J. Blatz (Teresa); and her sister, Mary Lee Odem (Drew), and sister Theresa Long. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews: Adam Blatz (Jess), David Blatz, Amanda Odem, and Katelyn Odem. Lisa’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2750 Mequon Road, Mequon, Wi.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 until the Eulogy at approximately 11:45. Followed by mass at 12:00. A reception will follow the mass in St. Cecilia Hall.
