With broken hearts we announce the passing of Cynthia Donahue, who left to her eternal home on May 23rd, 2026, at the age of 69, after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer.
Cindy is survived by her loving children Kelli (Roman) Tuler and Kyle (Kayla) Donahue; adored grandchildren Reyna and Koltyn Donahue and Eva and Avery Tuler; and nieces and nephews. Also left to cherish her memory is her beloved significant other, “Her Honey”, Tim Pritzlaff.
In addition to her parents George and Audrey Stanek, Cindy was preceded in death by her dear brother Dennis Stanek.
Also known as Yaya, Cindy was the kind of person who could make anyone feel loved the moment they walked into the room. Cindy's laugh, sass, independence, and stubbornness left a mark on everyone lucky enough to have known her.
Born on November 15th, 1956, in Milwaukee WI Cindy built her life centered around her family. Cindy was more than a mom and a Yaya, she was the heart of the family, the one her children called first for everything, and she always somehow knew exactly what to say. Cindy's greatest joys in life were supporting her family. She was endlessly proud of her granddaughters and never missed a chance to cheer them on. Whether it was sitting in the audience watching dance performances with tears in her eyes, or proudly celebrating every soccer goal from the sidelines, her love for them was unconditional, fierce, and impossible to miss.
When Cindy wasn’t with her Granddaughters, she was busy exploring new experiences with her honey “Timmy Todd”. They loved to travel together, go to any patriotic event they could, and cook on the Blackstone sipping on a glass of Chardonnay.
Cindy also had a deep love for America and was incredibly proud of her country. She valued strength, loyalty, family, and faith and carried those values with her throughout her life. She wanted her life celebrated with love, laughter, and color, and in true fashion she made it known that she wanted everyone wearing patriotic colors at her funeral…A reflection of her personality and the pride she carried for her country.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14 at 1PM, followed by a funeral service at 2PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Mukwonago (930 Main St).
Her strength inspired us, her love shaped us, and her memory will stay with us forever.
