Frederick Weber
October 5, 1938 - May 11, 2026

Frederick Weber, known to his family and friends as Fred, born Oct 5th, 1938, was born to eternal life on May 11, 2026, at the age of 87.

Fred was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Helen and Hans Weber living out in rural Brookfield.

He was the beloved husband of Carol (Witkowski), daughter of Joan and Peter Witkowski. Fred and Carol were married on May 5th, 1962, and this love story was an amazing journey, celebrating their 64th this year. That same year he also decided to join the Catholic Church and received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, along with Matrimony.

He was a proud and devoted father to Fred, Cynthia (the late James) Brengosz, and Michael (Jason Merkley); Grandfather to Bryan (Samantha), Teresa (James) Talkington, Christopher Brengosz, and Miricle Brengosz; Great-Grandpa to Logan, Layla, and Tucker.

Nothing meant more to Fred than his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Together Fred and Carol built a family life centered around laughter, making treasured memories, and unconditional love. The measure of a good father is not defined by perfection, but by active involvement, love, and consistency. A good father shapes his children’s lives through his presence, integrity, and willingness to grow alongside them. This was especially true for Fred, who preplanned everything and was a terrific provider.

Always showing an interest in both cars and trucks, Fred worked for many years as Director of Safety and Maintenance for Waste Management. He retired from that distinguished career in 1998. His career started in the family business Weber Trucking, alongside his father Hans and his Stepmother Phyllis.

He was always ready with a joke, a story, or a conversation that could make people laugh and feel welcome. He made friends quickly and developed long-lasting relationships.

A visitation will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls (N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave.) on Sunday, May 17th, from 6PM until the vigil service at 7:30PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be the following day, Monday, May 18th, at 11AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls (N88 W17658 Christman Road). Fred will be privately laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

In honor of Fred, the family asks that memorials be made to:
