Samuel B. Ward
June 9, 1999 - April 18, 2026

Samuel B. Ward of Fredonia, WI, passed away unexpectedly and was born to Eternal Life on April 18, 2026, at the age of 26.

Beloved son of Damon and Joanne, also of Fredonia. Sam is further survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doyle and Janice Ward, and Tony and Jane Scozzafave.

As a young boy, Sam was a pirate at heart, often found with a sword in his hand. He loved swimming and catching frogs. As he grew older, he could often be found alongside his best friend, his dog Beamer. After graduating from Ozaukee High School in 2017, Sam continued his education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2021.

Sam enjoyed trap and target shooting, fishing up north, and riding his ATV. He cherished time spent with his aunts and uncles and looked forward to frequent “cousins’ night” dinners.  Saturday nights were reserved for watching UFC fights, while many other evenings were spent practicing kickboxing. He also enjoyed treating himself to crab legs or an occasional steak dinner out with friends. Sam recently found his niche working in building supply sales, where his personality shone.

Sam will be remembered for his big smile, kind and compassionate nature, sense of humor, and quick wit. He loved engaging in spirited discussions over current events. He was deeply grateful for the support of his large and loving family. His father was truly his best friend, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Lumen Christi Catholic Church,2750 W. Mequon Road, Mequon from 12 PM until the time of the Memorial Mass at 1 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice or by performing a kind deed for another in Sam’s honor.
