Mary Ann Stueber
June 3, 1935 - February 7, 2026

Daughter of the late Homer A. and Vera (nee Gasser) Stueber, Mary Ann was welcomed into God’s heavenly kingdom on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the age of 90. Her first breath was taken at Twin City General Hospital in Sauk City, WI on June 3, 1935… and the rest is history! Mary Ann lived a life rooted in faith, generosity and love.

She was a member of the 1953 graduating class of Prairie du Sac High School and after high school, began working in the banking industry at M&I Bank, First Wisconsin National Bank, and US Bank in Mequon, WI. A devoted Christian, she was an active member in community churches, most recently Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church where she served faithfully in numerous ministries, whether teaching Sunday School, organizing meal donations, counting weekly money offerings or quietly praying for others.

Mary Ann had an infectious personality that drew people from all walks of life into her wide circle of friends. She touched and influenced many people throughout her life. Her willingness to show empathy, resilience, integrity, patience, compassion, courage and optimism inspired all who knew her. She demonstrated those virtues through her many different ways of volunteering such as the food pantry, Interfaith Caregiving Network, her church, and delivering food and mail to the homebound. She believed that small acts of kindness could make a great difference, and she lived that belief every day. In fact, her personal tutoring of a young girl brought particular delight and grew into a lifelong relationship she cherished.

One of Mary Ann’s passions was gardening and she won floral awards with her beautiful and unusual irises, of which she was very proud. Her garden was a reflection of her spirit - colorful, nurturing and full of life. She also was well-known by friends and family as a wonderful baker. Her apple recipes were contest winners, too!

In the most recent years, Mary Ann became an advocate for the endangered monarch butterflies, raising and releasing them, while sharing the knowledge and excitement with her friends at Village at the Falls where she last resided. Her ability to play piano by ear was always entertaining.

Mary Ann cherished her family. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Guenther Eisenmann, having first found each other on the last day of their separate European tours. They married August, 1991 and she was welcomed into a “readymade” family of children. Over their almost 30 years together, this family grew to currently 2 children (Kurt and wife Cynthia, Juline and husband Ralph) and 5 grandchildren (all married) and 11 great-grandchildren who fondly and affectionately called her “GG” and will miss her. She will be remembered for gentle hugs and the ever present baskets of candy, suckers being the #1 taste treat! She is also survived by dearest cousins and a multitude of family and friends too numerous to list.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” - Matthew 25:23

A celebration of Mary Ann’s life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church, N84W16707 Menomonee Avenue, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. Visitation begins at 10:00 am until 12:00 noon when the memorial service begins.

Family will gather February 23, 2026 for a private internment at Sauk Prairie Cemetery.
