Anna M. Lewandowski
February 16, 1967 - January 30, 2026

Anna Marie Lewandowski passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Froedtert Hospital. She was born on February 16, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Alan and Mary (Schemmel) Arms. She was the youngest of five children which means she got away with everything.

She graduated from Rochester High School in Indiana in 1985 and then Milliken University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1989. She married her best “Pal,” Mark V. Lewandowski on May 11, 1991 at St. Catherine Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Anna worked at Michael, Best, and Friedrich Law Firm for over 30 years. Utilizing her background in musical theater, Anna directed several school plays for St. Jude of the Apostle school, where her daughter, Isabelle was a student.

She found joy in reading and napping, visiting her “happy place” in Waupaca, Wisconsin, music and singing, bargain shopping, and being on a beach or in the water. We will hear her voice and see her face in a hundred different ways each and every day.

Her big hugs and bright smiles will be missed by her husband Mark, daughter Isabelle (Jack) DuBois of Austin, Texas, and sisters Michele Arms (Jim Hirsch) of Rockford, Illinois, Sara (Kevin) Ramach of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Amy (Brian) Johnson of Carmel, Indiana; nieces and nephews William Ramach (Emma Heemstra), Samuel Ramach, Kathryn Ramach, and Elaine Johnson, as well as all the friends she has made throughout her life. Special thanks to Doug & Nancy Lady and John & Karen Podlasek for their love and support.

She is preceded by her parents and brother Paul Arms.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Wisconsin Humane Society.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026 at St. Jude the Apostle Parish (734 Glenview Ave, Wauwatosa, WI 53213) from 3:45 pm until the time of Funeral Mass at 5:45 pm.
