Adolph "Rod" Rothe
June 26, 1925 - January 20, 2026

Entered into Eternal Life on January 20, 2026 at age 100. Loving husband of the late Margaret for 68 years. Cherished father of Louis (Tracy) and Thomas (Kathleen). Beloved grandpa of Courtney, Jennifer, Joanne, and Sarah. Great- grandfather of 9. He is also survived by his brother LeRoy (Lois) of Coupeville WA and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Enyart of Independence MO.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War, earning two Purple Hearts for his bravery and sacrifice. After returning home, he built a long and respected career as an accountant with Schwerman Trucking Company. Following his retirement, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially tending his garden and growing vegetables. Above all else, his grandchildren were his pride and joy; he was a wonderful grandfather who meant the world to them and was lovingly known as the “Best Grandpa Ever.” He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Lakehouse Menomonee Falls, Aurora at Home Hospice, and Zilber Family Hospice for the care and kindness.

Services will be at St. Catherine of Alexandria (8661 N. 76th Place Milwaukee) on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9am to 10:30am.
