Michael W. Lehmkuhl
June 21, 1944 - December 1, 2025
        
Of Menomonee Falls, found peace on December 1, 2025, at the age of 81 years. Michael was born on June 21, 1944, the son of the late William and Louise Andersen. He married his best friend and love of his life, Jeneva Hildebrand, on July 14, 1967. Michael was a kind and honest man who was also quick to defend what he thought was right. He had a quick wit and dry sense of humor. Michael kept his friends close and was a constant and loyal lifelong friend to them. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed deer and goose hunting, fishing, and the companionship of his dog. He was also a sports fan who enjoyed cheering on a good football, baseball, basketball game, or any other sport that was televised. He was a 59 year member of the American Legion, Post #8, in Douglas, Wyoming. Michael was very patriotic and proudly served his country in the United States Airforce, and was stationed  in this country as well as Japan.
 
Michael will be dearly missed by his wife, Jeneva Lehmkuhl; son, Kirk Lehmkuhl, (Jennifer Koppelman); brother, Mark (Sharon) Lehmkuhl, sister-in-law, Ann Rex; John and Mary Ziachkin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Lawrence Rex.
 
The visitation for Michael will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, from 10AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:30AM. Military Honors will immediately follow.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Legion or the Elmbrook Humane Society are appreciated.
 
There is currently road construction going on in front of the Funeral Home. You can enter coming westbound on Menomonee Ave. but not eastbound. You can also enter on the west side off of Town Hall Rd or on the east side off of Shady Lane
