Our families grew up together in Brown Deer on 54th Street. We have many fun memories of Joyce , especially the "Block Parties!" During the later years our parents "Jerry and Jane "ventured on several trips with Joyce and Leroy. I believe my parents had many fun memories of Joyce , and dad has them all on Video! She will surely be missed by all the Halls.

Sending much love and light to the family from abroad. I am so sorry I cannot make it to the memorial, but I will be there in spirit.

Joyce was a strong Woman who ran a tight ship with laughter and sweetness, a winning combination!

She will always be with you in your hearts and spirit.

Rest in peace Joyce xo

Joyce and Leroy were the first to welcome us to the neighborhood 25 years ago and we became great friends right away. Joyce was an inspiration….she was smart, kind, an excellent cook/baker …..and stubborn as they come!! Lol
Even in her 90’s, Joyce wasn’t an “old lady”….she was current and tolerant and had the mindset of a much, much younger person.

Christmas will never be the same without an evening of cookies, wine and games while admiring the tree and hearing the stories of all the ornaments.

And she was my friend. And I miss her terribly but my life was better from having her in it. Rip dear Joyce. thanks for being my friend.
