He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Allmann (born sleeping), his parents, Edward and Marie Allmann, his sisters Mary (Daniel) Babich and Kathleen Allmann.

Bob was born on December 21, 1950, to Edward and Marie (Van Slett) Allmann in Marshfield, WI. He graduated from Colby High School in 1969.He was then drafted to the 101st Airborne Division Artillery and served in Vietnam. Upon his discharge, Bob moved west to Colorado where he met the love of his life, Sheryl. They were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, WI on August 16th, 1975, and celebrated 50 adventurous years of marriage. Bob worked building large infrastructure projects throughout Colorado with Flatiron Structures and later shifted to manufacturing with Huffy Inc when his family relocated back to Wisconsin. He finished his career with Shealey Electric in South Carolina.

Bob loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed building and growing things of all kinds. From carpentry to gardening, he always had the next project imagined for development. When he wasn’t in the garage or garden, he preferred to be on his boat, fishing or captaining his family around the lake. He was a giving friend and neighbor and had an open door and open arms for any and all who were in need. Bob had a particularly soft spot for children and was Papa Bob to many beyond his own grandchildren. He gave the best hugs, loved to sing and was a fantastic dancer. He was known to take Sheryl for a spin around the kitchen and anywhere a two-step or swing dance song played.

Bob fought a long battle with cancer, and he did so with grace and quiet strength. His family is grateful for the compassionate care he received from his teams at Zablocki VA and Froedtert Hospitals in Milwaukee. His doctors, nurses, therapists and aides worked tirelessly with and for him.
