James “Jim” Marr age 81 passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025. Jim was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was a Washington High School graduate. Jim worked for Harley Davidson briefly after high school before joining the City of Milwaukee Police Department in 1967. He proudly served 30 years with the City of Milwaukee as a Police Officer at various locations and units, including Dist 5, 7,TEU, Warrant Squad, Dist 2 and Court Administration before retiring in 1997. Jim was a member of the Masonic Lodge for many years and became a member of the Shriners where he entertaining people as a clown in the Circus and went by the name"Bang Bang". Jim almost always had a convertible sports car and his biggest passion was going for long drives around Wisconsin.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Jacalyn “Jackie” Marr. He was a proud "Girl Dad" to his two daughters, Jodi (Vince) Hanoski and Jill (Mario) Gutierrez and Grandfather to four grandchildren, Becca, Tony, Nick and Colin.
A private celebration will be held by his family.

Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
