She finally got her wings on November 10, 2025, at the age of 56.

She is survived by a loving and strong family.

She is preceded in death by her father George, her second Father Michael, and her brother Donald.

DJ graduated from Sussex Hamilton where she made lifelong friends. She loved all her fur-babies and nature. DJ lived her life to the fullest and was free.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home (W250 N6505 Hwy 164, Sussex, WI 53089) from 10am until the time of sharing at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society are appreciated.
