Arlene Olive Angell of Wauwatosa passed away peacefully on Friday morning, November 7, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on October 25, 1941, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gladys (Haese) Kircheval.
She is survived and deeply loved by her husband of 62 years, Bradley Angell; her children, Brett (Mary Lister) Angell, and Robin (Christopher) Carroll; her cherished grandchildren, Holden and Harper Carroll; her sister, Kathy Kircheval; and extended family and friends, Carole Angell, and Jacquelyn Nook.
A devoted wife and mother, Arlene dedicated her early years to raising her children before pursuing her artistic passions. She became an accomplished seamstress, demonstrating her skills at Kovacs Fabrics in Mayfair Mall, and later worked as a valued executive assistant at Roundy’s headquarters, where she would eventually retire.
In retirement, Arlene found joy in spending time with her family and friends, dining out with her husband, visiting her children and grandchildren, gardening, baking, and caring for her beloved cats. Following her diagnosis with dementia, she was lovingly cared for at home by her husband and the compassionate team at Home Helpers Home Care of Mequon until March 2025, when the exceptional staff at Clement Manor of Greenfield took over her care.
Arlene’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Private services have been held. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Wisconsin Humane Society, Clement Manor, or Alzheimer’s Association, in her memory.
