Judith Carol Banasik, beloved mother and grandmother, found Eternal Peace on November 6, 2025. She was 84 years old and surrounded by her family, including grandchildren Morgan and Danica whom she spent many precious hours with.
Judith is survived by her loving children Bryan (Amy Bentley) Banasik, Bridget (Robert) Widish, Vince (Leanna) Banasik, and Luke (Dung) Banasik; adored grandchildren Robin, Alton, Morgan, Danica, Corey, Joe, Alexandra, Zachary, Joshua, Abby, Aric, and Aaron; and precious great grandchildren Nova Mae, Robbyn, and Kayden. Also left to cherish her memory are her brother James (Terri) Blazek, special cousin and friends Mary Jo and Joe Jones, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents James and Rose (nee Mendola) Blazek, Judith was preceded in death by brother Gary Blazek.
Despite a lack of support, Judith’s children describe her as an amazing single mother who raised 4 children and worked 2 jobs while putting herself through college. Judith’s career as a certified pharmacy technician earned her great respect and recognition as she was awarded the very first Pharmacy Tech of the Year award by the PSW (Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin).
Judith loved sailing and the “lake life”, as well as gardening. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society in East Troy.
A woman who lived her life with purpose and intention, Judith was a pillar of strength and teacher of many lessons in life, love, and family. With a warm smile on her face, she always had an abundance of love and laughter to share. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished as the heart of her family.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 21 at 4PM, followed by a memorial service at 6PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Mukwonago (930 Main St).
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/.
