Bob was born in Milwaukee on May 30, 1930 to Joseph and Frances Butterfield, the youngest of four sons.  All four brothers served their country in the military.  Bob was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean War.  He worked for the Borden Company for 40 years and retired in June of 1990.  He enjoyed playing softball and was an avid bowler; bowling a 300 game.  Family meant a lot to Bob and he will be missed by all those who knew him.
