Found peace on August 29, 2025 at the age of 79 years old. Beloved husband of Vicki for nearly 58 years. Loving father of Todd (Beth) Hanson and Tori Hanson. Proud grandpa to Alex, Olivia and Abby Hanson. Dear brother of Barbara (Richard) Jordens and the late Sandra Feutz. Brother-in-law of Robert (Holli) Feutz and Norma (the late Edward) Heffel. Don is further survived by nieces and nephews: Robert, the late Lisa, Kim, Justin, Jill, Heidi and Courtney, special friends Amy, Monte, Elise, Elaina, Eden and other relatives and friends.
Don had a deep love for his family, gardening, especially his flowers and keeping his lawn manicured. He found joy in dancing, basking in the sunshine, and spending time on the water and boating. Everyone knew he loved his country.
Visitation on Friday, September 5, 2025 from12Noon until time of the funeral service 1:30PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave in Menomonee Falls, followed by entombment at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated.
(Menomonee Ave is under construction and the funeral home main entrance is open for traffic coming westbound from Appleton Ave. but not east bound. There are two other entrances to the Funeral Home. One is on the east side off of Shady Lane and the other is on the southwest side off of Town Hall Rd.)
