Antonia’s (Nina) family immigrated to the U.S. in 1930 from Sicily carrying not just her culture but a passion for hard work.

She grew up on Milwaukee’s East Site attending Cass Street School and Lincoln High.

Antonia met the love of her life “Danny” and knew her life would never be the same.   Raising 3 children.   Antonia walked us to Vacation Bible School every summer. Her journey did not require a steering wheel, just the great faith She instilled in us.

Antonia proudly worked at Elm Grove Ace Hardware, for many years, not just an employee but to many the heart of the store.

Her unwavering dedication to family at home, made her our rock - and she made the best spaghetti.

Among many traditions we cherish, none brought more joy than Thanksgivings in Door County a tradition we continue to this day!

Nina’s infectious laughter leaves a lasting impact to anyone that was lucky enough to cross her path.    We are all grateful.

We love you NiNi!!!
