(Nee Fischer) passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in Muskego, Wisconsin with family by her side. She was 94 years old.

Beloved wife of the late Herman (Hank) Darkow.

Dear mother of the late Michael (Dolores Krenke), the late Peter (Rebecca), and Mark (Camille) Darkow.

Loving grandma of Jessica (Scott) Lindow, Shanna (Eric) Eskeli, Ashley Gargulak, Brandon Darkow, Ashton Darkow, and Hannah (Adam) Wojnowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Evelyn Fischer, sister Violet and brother-in-law Karl Ganhs, brother Thomas and sister-in-law Vern Fischer as well as other family.

Further survived by 16 great-grandchildren and other family and friends.

Lois was a dedicated Teachers Aide for the Menomonee Falls School District for 35 years as well as a volunteer and leader of many organizations as well.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, September 13th from 3-7 p.m. at Steny’s Lake Country, N29W24483 Watertown Road in Pewaukee.
