Shelbyjean Reinhart, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away surrounded by her family. She was a woman whose love and strength left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
Shelby was the devoted wife of Bud Reinhart for 65 years, and the proud mother of three daughters: Connie (Howard) Barnes, Carrie (Joel) Hensel, and Christine (Jeff) Martin. She cherished her role as a grandmother to seven grandchildren: Travis (Amanda) Martin, Stephanie Hensel, Matt (Kumiko) Barnes, Tennille (Ryan) Cates, Alex Barnes, Kyla Hensel, and Carley Koc. Her joy only grew as her family did, and she delighted in the company of her six great-grandchildren: Brinley Martin, Mabel Cates, Sawyer Cates, Fiona Barnes, Nash Cates, and Asher Cates.
She is also survived by her sister, Yvonne (Robert) Wingelman, and her sisters- and brothers-in-law: Dick, Karen, Kathy, Mark, Gary, Lori, Tom, and Sharon.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings- Willard, Gertrude,Marilyn,Audrey,Rita and Bill.
Shelby had a deep love for her family and found true joy in the simple yet meaningful moments—especially watching her great-grandchildren open gifts during holidays and birthdays. She had a passion for puzzles, particularly the challenging 2000-piece kind that tested patience and persistence. Shelby also enjoyed dining out, playing games, and most importantly, winning them. Bud and Shelby also enjoyed being long time members of North Hills Country Club.
Shelbyjean Reinhart’s legacy of love and strength lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
