Was born on October 2nd 1967, in Plymouth, WI, the son of the late Jack Johnson and Priscilla Kohlmann Johnson. After a long battle with many health concerns, he was called home to eternal rest on Tuesday, May 6th 2025. He received the ARTS certification from the Lakeshore Public Safety Division and also became a Fire Safety Inspector. While expressing multiple talents he particularly had a great appreciation for food while working as a chef at the American Club and found his love for cows when working at Spruce Lawn Farm. Robert delighted in hunting, fishing and going to the gun range. He also loved woodworking and gardening. Robert is survived by his wife Amanda of 7 years, son Dustin Vanderkin, daughter Kimberly (Zeb) Steele, daughter Megan Wilson, son Danial Johnson (Kaitlyn), and daughter Rebecca Johnson (Daniel Ritchie), and grandson Tate.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 a.m. till time of service, 1:00 p.m., at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church (WELS), 2028 north 60th street, Milwaukee, WI 53208. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saint James Assistance Fund would be appreciated.
