Rick was a devoted father and grandfather. His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He was a pillar of strength and source of support, guiding his family with unwavering love. Rick’s greatest joy in life came from spending time with his six adoring grandchildren. His role as “grampers” brought him immense joy.
Rick had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, playing cards, woodworking (carpenter by occupation) and yardwork. His adventurous spirit led him on memorable journeys, often with his family by his side. Rick’s love for nature served as a constant reminder of the magnificence and fragility of life.
Rick will be remembered for his feisty personality. He was the biggest cheerleader; he was and always will be the grandchildren’s #1 fan. His grandchildren will miss his loud whistles and yelling from the sidelines, but know he will be looking down fondly at them from heaven. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Rick’s life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Parish, located at N74 W13604 Appleton Ave. Menomonee Falls, WI. Visitation will take place prior to the service, starting at 9:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family requested.
The family of Rick extends heartful gratitude for the outpouring of love, support and condolences during this difficult time. Please join them in remembering and celebrating the life of Rick. May his soul find eternal peace.
