James Anthony "Jimmy" Campbell
September 11, 1975 - March 14, 2025

James ("Jimmy") Anthony Campbell, born on September 11, 1975, in Milwaukee, WI, was unexpectedly sent to his eternal home on March 14, 2025. He was the beloved son of Joseph and Cecelia Campbell.

Jimmy was a leader. His joyful spirit could lighten the mood, frequently making him the center of any room. He was a man of integrity and work ethic, a dedicated servant. He sought to alleviate the struggles of others in everyday life. Jimmy most loved his connections with people, especially his family and close friends. He was easy to please and enjoyed classic movies, rock music, Packers football, fishing, hosting family parties, and attending sporting events with his children.

Jimmy recently retired from a distinguished 25-year career with the Milwaukee Police Department, having served as Captain of District One for many years before culminating his service as Captain of the Special Investigations Division (SID). He was a reliable partner to many in the force and dedicated to serving the community. He cared and looked out for people, always ensuring they were safe, on the right track, and, most importantly, happy. He was a professional.

We are all very proud and grateful to have had Jimmy in our lives. He was so quick to take on the burden for others yet so slow to shed his upon them. Jimmy was the rock for so many, the protector and always the first call in times of need. We miss him deeply and will forever be grateful for how he cared for us all. He was an irreplaceable part of our lives, and his memory will continue to live on in everything we do. We love you so much, Jimmy.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Gina (Ferraro) Campbell, and children, Ahmed, Zayna, Lucas and Jayce; his mother, Cecelia; brothers and sister, Joey (Cindy), Mandi (Frank), Eddie (Angie) and Pete (Michaela); and nephews and nieces, Ashlyn, Ollie, Adele, Ben, Katherine, Ellie, Emma, Christian, Harrison, Teddy and Huey. Jimmy is preceded in eternal life by his father, Joseph, and will be laid to rest beside him, reuniting father and son once more.
