Dee C. Donley (nee Stevens)

Dee Donley, 77, of Menomonee Falls, WI, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2025 surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Dee fought with determination and grace, displaying her strength and courage with each new obstacle she encountered.
Dee was born on March 17, 1947 to Thomas “Bud” and Addie Stevens in Crookston, MN. She graduated from Fertile High School in 1965 and went on to work in Minneapolis/St.Paul. On February 11, 1967 she was united in marriage to Larry Donley and celebrated 58 years of marriage this year. She is the loving mom of Lynn (Dean) Peterson and Kris (Brian) Pesick. A proud grandma of Lauren (Alex) Kruse, Tyler Peterson, Drew Pesick and Zachary Peterson. Great-grandma of Fintan and Declan Kruse. Sister of Vickie (Ed) Larsen, Scott (Sue) Stevens and Lane Stevens. Sister-in-law of Rita Stevens, Pat Donley, Jerry (Glenda) Donley and Dick (Sue) Donley. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends. Dee was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Adeline Stevens, her parents-in-law LuVerne and Carolyn Donley, her brother Mark Stevens, sister-in-laws Arlene Donley and Teri Stevens, brother and sister-in-law Bob and LaVonne Stuettgen, her niece Sheryl Schultz and her nephew Jim Stuettgen.

Dee loved traveling with her husband, especially their trips to Jamaica. She also enjoyed her annual trip back to her hometown in Fertile, MN every July. She frequently travelled to watch her grandchildren play sports during their school years. Her greatest joy of all was spending time with family, especially her great-grandsons.

Visitation will be Sunday March 16, 2025 at Schmidt & Bartelt in Menomonee Falls from 10 am until time of memorial service at NOON.
