Michael Joseph McDonald
November 14, 1953 - September 29, 2024

Michael Joseph McDonald, age 70, entered into eternal life, unexpectedly, at his home in Mequon on September 29, 2024. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Dr. Ann H. McDonald (nee Breithaupt), his siblings, Sharon McDonald and Patrick McDonald, his niece Dr. Margaret Samberg Tabet and his aunt, Tlanda McDonald. He is further survived by his brother-in-law, Charles (Ellen) Breithaupt, their children (Lauren and James), and his sister-in-law, Kim (John) Caravella and his two beloved Welsh corgis, Bonnie and Henry. He is further survived by many grand nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Joan Baker Pulte and Thomas J. McDonald, his uncle James McDonald and his siblings, Thomas McDonald and Mary Jane Samberg Barrett.

Mike was a humble man and an accountant (CPA) by training (Marquette University, 1975) and personality. His devotion to details spilled over into his love of classic cars (Ford mustangs and Shelby cobras) and guided his actions throughout his life. He served as president of the Antique Automobile Club of America, Wisconsin Region for many years during which he organized several classic car shows. Mike was devoted to his family and became fascinated by genealogy, locating several Canadian cousins and even visiting them in Ontario. He visited Scotland, where he had tracked down his earliest known ancestor and recently became a board member of Clan Donald in Wisconsin. But his love of Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh corgi dogs will remain one of his most beloved characteristics.
