Brenda volunteered as a catechist in Lumen Christi Child Ministry for several years where I had the pleasure of working with her when I was a Child Ministry coordinator. She was bright, friendly and intelligent. Brenda’s nursing career also benefited my family when my granddaughter was born with a congenital heart defect. Brenda’s daughter, Aubrey, had become a nurse and cared for my granddaughter at Children’s Hospital/Wisconsin. I feel Brenda’s energy, wit and warmth shone through her daughter/nurse, Aubrey, as we dealt with a 5 month stay in the pediatric ICU. Brenda, and her family have clearly made the world a better place.

I am so very sorry for your loss.Brenda has always been such a kind, fun, and giving person. I have wonderful memories of working together at Homestead High School. And of Brenda calling me out of the blue when she heard one of my kids sustained an injury. Since, we’ve met in stores all over Mequon and beyond…Brenda always searching for items to make parties and get togethers special. We’d stand off to the side and spend thirty minutes catching up. It always made my day better. Prayers for comfort, peace, and joy in good memories for Brenda’s family.

Dear Quick Family - I met Brenda at an H-D celebration with Bridget. I did not know her well, but it was easy to see how proud she was of Bridget. My deepest sympathy to you all.

I am shocked to hear that Brenda has passed away. I have known Brenda and her sister for years. Their Dad, Ralph, was my Godfather. R.I.P. Brenda.

Shocked and saddened to hear about Brenda’s passing. Brenda was one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever met. She volunteered her time and energy to every school event, every teacher and coach, and every worthy cause. Her love and spirit filled the room, making her larger than life. Sending Pat, Bridget, Aubrey & Connor our deepest condolences.
