Age 74 of Mukwonago passed away surrounded by family November 26, 2023, at Angels Grace Hospice. Dear husband of 55 years to Karen. Loving dad of Julie (Marcus) Geoffrey, Richard (Dan) Fletcher, Terri (Nate) Besch, and Matt (Alison)Fletcher. Loving grandfather to Benjamin (Amber) Geoffrey, Christopher Geoffrey, Madeline, Hailey, Jessica Besch, Alex and Emma Fletcher, great-grandfather to Gracelyn.
He is survived by his mother Ludvina (Nina) Fletcher, sisters Donna (Thor) Dykstra, Janice Fletcher, Cynthia (Thomas) Jerger and his brothers, John (Annette) Fletcher and Roy (Betty) Fletcher. Preceded in death by his father John “Jack” Fletcher and sister Susan Schuyler
He started Fletcher Pump Distributing in 1981 and retired in 2013. The customers enjoyed the annual pig roast, he hosted. Richard was an avid duck hunter and spent every October on Rush Lake, most recently with his faithful dog, Tucker. He was a trap and skeet shooter and was a member of the Waukesha Gun Club where he taught Hunter Safety Classes. He was also a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and enjoyed going to Spring Training in Arizona. He was a mentor and helper to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial visitation will be held Sunday December 10, 2023 from 12pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 930 Main St. Mukwonago.
