William A. "Bill" Mingari

In Loving Memory of William Anthony Mingari

William Anthony Mingari, age 80, passed away on September 30, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 22, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Salvatore and Angeline Mingari, and was the second of four children. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his older brother Joseph, and his younger brother Theodore (Teddy).

Bill spent his formative years in the Columbus Park area of Milwaukee and graduated from Custer High School. He furthered his education by attending Technical College, where he focused on drafting. His professional journey took him into the world of retail, where he excelled over the years. He eventually achieved the prestigious position of Vice President of Imperial Magnavox, overseeing several stores in the greater Milwaukee area.  Later in life, Bill discovered his passion for real estate, becoming a licensed broker and, as a General Contractor, fulfilled his dream of building and remodeling many remarkable homes.

Bill was not only a dedicated professional but also a devoted family man. He was an exceptional grandfather and great-grandfather, bringing joy and laughter to his family's lives. Bill had a love for hot rods, and golfing was his true passion, evident in his extensive collection of golf balls. He loved downhill skiing and dedicated his time to volunteering in the nursery at East Troy Bible Church. Known for his heart of gold, Bill was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He shared countless cherished moments on the golf course with many of his friends.

Bill was well looked after in his later years by his closest friends Jon & Renee Gallun, daughter Gina (Leandro) and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Mingari, who made sure every need was addressed. He was comforted in his final days by the laughter and love of Murray and Jackie Smith’s children, Mason and Mia before he went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Bill is survived by his son William (Jennifer) and his daughter Gina (Leandro Andrade). He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through his grandchildren, Alex Mingari (Rebekah), Rebekah (Bo Stought), Katlin (Daniel Leczo), Antonio Andrade, and Mario Andrade, as well as his great-grandchildren, Eli (Daniel & Katlin Leczo) and Braydon (Alex & Rebekah) Mingari.

He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth (Salvatore Giordano) and his two sisters-in-law, Judy Mingari and Donna Mingari. He is also survived by his absolute best friend and confidant Renee Gallun (Jon), with whom he shared an enduring bond. Bill further played an integral role in the lives of Jon & Renee’s children coaching, mentoring, and just enjoying time with, Murray (Jackie) Smith, Eric Smith, and Cassidy Gallun.  Beyond his family circle, Bill had a great love for his friendships, which he cherished over the years. These friendships were far too many to name, but their significance in Bill's life was immeasurable.

Bill is additionally survived by the mother of his children, Pamela Mingari.

A memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on October 6th, 2023, at East Troy Bible Church (2660 North St., East Troy, Wisconsin.  Visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00 NOON, service 12:00 NOON to 1:00pm, burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.  PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO ROAD CONSTRUCTION ON HWY 20, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE ST. PETER’S RD TO STEEPLE RD GO SOUTH TO N. STERLING RD AND MAKE A RIGHT.  THE CHURCH WILL BE JUST DOWN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD.
