Gordon A. Hanna

Of Eagle, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2023 at the age of 93.  He is survived by his loving wife Donna of 53 years.  Father of James Hanna, Sandra (Randy) Jaroszewski, the late Mark Hanna, and Sharon (Edward) Cox.  Proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  He was preceded by his siblings Daniel, Grace, and David.

Gordon proudly served his country in the US Army in the Korean War, and survived 9 months as a P.O.W. (Prisoner of War).  He received the Purple Heart while serving in the Korean War.  Gordon was a member of American Legion Post 375.

Gordon enjoyed reading mystery books written by James Patterson and going to the casinos and playing the slot machines.  He worked as a brew master and then retired from the railroad.  He loved his dogs.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home (930 Main St. Mukwonago) from 1:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.
