Of Sussex. Passed away unexpectedly with his beloved wife Maggie August 14, 2023 at the age of 69. He is survived by his stepchildren Peter (Amanda), Lizzie (Andy) Bartolotta and Sarah (Alex) Neve, siblings Kathleen (Richard) Preston, numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his brother Thomas Weigel.

Gus was a proud motorcycle cop with the Milwaukee Police Department for 24 years. He was the Vice President of the Sussex-Lisbon Area Historical Society. An animal lover, he enjoyed horses, cats and dogs. You could always find Gus smoking a cigar with an animal on his lap.

Celebration of Life for Maggie and Gus will take place from 1:30pm to 6:00 pm on October 1st at Homestead Hollow Country Park, located at N120 W19809 Freistadt Rd., Germantown, Wisconsin.
