Passed February 9, 2023 at the age 87 years after a long struggle with heart failure.

Dear father of Karen (Robert) Schams and Kurt Linke.  Special grandpa of Kelley (nee Schams) Lumbard, Ryan & Alex Schams and Jack & Joseph Linke.  Amazing great-grandpa to Cal and Miles Lumbard.  Bob is further survived by many nieces, nephews and too many friends to list.

Bob was an amazing man who lived an amazing life.  He was very generous with his time and talents, constantly fixing and improving the environment around him.  He worked 30 years for Milwaukee County as a civil engineer, taking part in many road and highway improvements in the Milwaukee area.  He loved the outdoors, he loved his cabin (which he built), he loved his family.  He lived a life filled with blessings.

Visitation will be Friday March 10th at Saint Monica Parish, 501 N. Santa Monica Blvd, Whitefish Bay, WI  (parking is available in the lot behind the church) from 10:00 until time of funeral mass at 11:00 AM.  Private interment will be at Spring Branch Cemetery in the Town of Rome, WI at a later date.
