For many years I have been one of Scott's barbers. And I am so very sad to come back from my vacation to find Scott never returned from his. I'm sorry I missed his Memorial Mass. My deepest condolences to you, he was a great guy, we shared a military background and lots of laughs. He is missed.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the untimely loss of Scott.Although I did not know Scott very well I know that he personified the essence of an American Hero and Patriot who you can be forever proud of. He chose a path in life that often placed him in harms way. His commitment will stand as an example to others wanting to follow in his footsteps.

Sending condolences from the entire hiking community. Saddens my heart to see someone so young pass away on trail. May his spirit forever be at peace and with nature. May Scott's memory heal your hearts during this time.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Scott for almost 25 years at the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. He was a great human being and Deputy. Rest In Peace.

Wow still in shock. Scotty was such a great guy…always in a good mood, always willing to help. Probably met him more than 20 years ago working when we would end up on a scene together. Scott was an old school, straight shooter. Miss you bud. Good bye old friend.

You were an absolutely amazing leader. Rest in peace sir.

I met Scott in the late 80's when both of us were becoming Special Deputies in Waukesha County. Worked on Okauchee Lake & numerous events throughout Waukesha County with him. At that time he was focused on one thing, becoming a Cop. He went on to become an Excellent Deputy with Waukesha & after knowing Scott for those few years knew that if Scott was any example of what working in Law Enforcement with someone as Funny and Professional and just a Great Human Being would be then that was the profession to get into. Left this world way too soon. RIP Scott.
