To the whole Smith family and especially to my friend Cheryl, please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your Dad.I have wonderful memories of spending time with Cheryl and your family. Your dad was always a very kind and wonderful man. His influences in baseball and life will truly be remembered.

Our sincere condolences on the lose of your Dad . He was a remarkable man and always treated us great . I actually killed my first whitetail buck with his M-100 Winchester .308 rifle that he lent me when I was a teenager. It was a new gun at the time and he had only used it once . I was amazed when he offered to let me use it . God Bless You Uncle Jim !
