Bruce A. Kosbab
January 20, 1953 - June 25, 2022
        

Bruce Anthony Kosbab, 69, of Wauwatosa, WI, passed away in his sleep on June 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Kosbab, and his father and stepmother, Fritz and Betty Kosbab, as well as his sister, stepsister, and two stepbrothers. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane Kosbab (nee Radowski), his daughter Deborah (Nickolas) Sego, sons Adam and Andrew Kosbab, grandchildren Zara and Nolan Sego, and half-brother, Robert DeVorse. He will be missed by numerous family and friends.

Bruce was a proud veteran, having served his country for four years during the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Air Force. He was an active member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, where he met Diane and where the two were married. Bruce spent 25 years working in grounds and later as a Federal Police Officer for the 440th Airlift Wing followed by nine years as a member of the grounds crew at the VA Medical Hospital, retiring in 2014.  Bruce was a Sunday school teacher for twenty-five years, enjoyed playing on the Dartball Team with son Adam, participating in the hand bell choir, meeting his friend Bob for weekly breakfast and serving his church as an Elder. He was active in WAUC Computer group where he held various positions and enjoyed creating the monthly Bulletin.

The funeral will be held at Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6817 W. Center St., Wauwatosa on Saturday, July 9, 2022, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. A light meal will follow in the church’s fellowship area where we can continue to share our favorite memories. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of your choice appreciated.
