WAUWATOSA-(nee Rubadeau).  Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, May 26, 2022.  Age 86.  Beloved wife of the late Roland F. Spahr who preceded her in death on October 2,  1998.  Dear mother of Jennifer and Michael (Ann) Spahr.  Loving grandmother of Christina Spahr, Samantha and Michael Spahr-Vitucci, Olivia and Ava Spahr; and one great-grandson, Derrick Walker.  Dear sister of  Dr. John (Dr. Pat) Rubadeau.   Further survived by her fur-babies Posi and Spartacus; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.    

Visitation Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 5:00pm until Time of Prayer Service at 7:00pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Madison, WI. 

Joan was born August 10, 1935 in Madison, WI to Kenneth and Florence Rubadeau.  She graduated from Madison Edgewood High School and Edgewood College majoring in Early Education.  She was married to her husband, Roland on February 6, 1960.  Joan retired from Milwaukee Public Schools after 52 years of teaching kindergarten very much enjoying and loving children.  She will be missed by all who knew her.
